Unique never before seen hand sculpted elaborate armor design. This design is based on a hand carved wood look for the armor. These sculpted and molded/cast pieces were painted to look like chunks of armor wood. They had mounting points with leather strapping and fasteners with decorative feather work.
This film was awarded an academy award for overall costume design.
